The ENT physicians and our certified audiologist collaborate closely to manage all ear-related diagnoses. This collaboration enables us to identify and treat problems more quickly and systematically all under one roof. While only 5 to 10 % of hearing problems are medically or surgically treatable, the next steps for proper treatment only come from an accurate diagnosis. For children, the presence of ear disease, such as ear infections, is typically much higher than for adults. Other medically treatable and surgical treatments for various causes of hearing loss include:

If your comprehensive audiologic evaluation indicates that your problem cannot be surgically or medically managed, additional testing will determine if you are a good hearing aid candidate.
