Ear Infections
Expert Ear Infection Care
Ear infections are a prevalent childhood condition, and we are here to provide expert care. The smaller size of the Eustachian tube in children makes it more susceptible to swelling. When swelling occurs, fluid can become trapped in the middle ear, exerting pressure on the eardrum and causing pain. This fluid can also become a breeding ground for infections.
For children who experience frequent ear infections unresponsive to antibiotics, our ENT specialists may recommend a surgical procedure to insert tympanostomy tubes into the eardrums. These tubes help prevent fluid accumulation in the middle ear, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
